Anthony Capizzano is Chief Growth Officer at Open Lending (LPRO), with extensive leadership experience across automotive, banking, and fintech. A former CEO, COO, and EVP, he has driven growth for Fortune 100 companies and high-growth startups alike.
Anthony began his career in the automotive industry at 14, working for his family’s business, Sanel Auto Parts, before serving in the U.S. Marine Corps. He returned to automotive retail as a GM and dealer principal before moving into auto finance in 2001, joining Onyx Acceptance and later Capital One, where he led the Western Region in sales and credit underwriting for over a decade.
In 2015, Anthony became CEO of Credimex Auto Finance, a joint venture with Grupo Autofin Mexico, spearheading cross-border strategies and operational expansion. He later served as Chief Sales Officer for multiple organizations, including Informed IQ, and held executive roles at Bank of the West—leading product strategy, innovation, and customer onboarding.
Most recently, as SVP of Consumer Lending at Axos Bank (AX), Anthony drove operational excellence, innovation, and scalable growth through customer-centric solutions and strategic transformation.
