Vice President of Sales – East Region

The Vice President of Sales will be the driving force for our geographically dispersed Sales Team and will be responsible for inspiring and further developing and mentoring the existing Sales Team in the Eastern US.  This role is responsible for collaborating across internal and external relationships to set and achieve the targeted growth plans.  

 

Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and implement a training and development program for new Sales Representatives.

  • Actively review sales with SVP – National Sales

  • Establishing promising business relationships to win new business within the territory as well as provide exceptional service to our existing customers.

  • Demonstrated success in creating sales forecasts and quotas.

  • Develop each member of the sales team and the sales team regularly (weekly, monthly, quarterly) with systematic performance metrics built upon strong analytic skills.

  • Identify and penetrate profitable key markets.

  • Hire, develop, and mentor new sales force for a new sales team to be hired.

  • Establish and maintain knowledge on the capabilities and functionality of all aspects of the Lenders Protection product

  • Meeting and exceeding growth targets for enabling revenue through partner & connector channels, and tight collaboration with sales leaders to achieve enterprise objectives

  • Identify opportunities to increase productivity, efficiency and enable growth

  • Be an advocate for the company while maintaining a holistic view of the relationship on a day-to-day operational and strategic level

  • Work cross-functionally with SVP-National Sales, Marketing, Implementation, Operations, Finance and IT to maximize opportunity funnel.

 

 Skills and Specifications

  • Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products

  • Travel could be local or national and will be approx. 50%+ of the job

  • Periodically attend tradeshows/conferences, company events and other key events

  • Provide timely and accurate reporting to clients to achieve and grow targets

  • Keep apprised of industry information and competitors.

  • Proven experience managing client relationships and expectations

  • Experience working with support, development and implementation teams in a dynamic technology environment

  • Manage multiple customer relationships at multiple stages simultaneously

  • Strong customer service background
