Chris Silk brings over thirty years of sales, consulting, and operational experience within the financial services industry to Open Lending.
As Senior Vice President of Sales, Chris leads business development for the Eastern US by setting revenue goals, strategizing for new business and sales consulting for regional, national, and global markets.
Since 2010, Chris has developed the credit union market in the eastern half of the US for Open Lending. Previously, Chris served as CEO of VoicePulse, Inc., a leading provider of VoIP services focusing on residential, commercial and wholesale markets. VoicePulse was honored in years past with PC Magazine’s “Best of the Year” and is well known as an industry leader with its SIP Trunking platforms.
Chris also served as a Sales Director at Verizon/MCI communications, Sales Manager at NeuStar in their Internet Infrastructure Sales Group, and as the Director of Business Development at UUNET EMEA where he led sales teams that were credited with the fastest and largest percentage of revenue growth within UUNET and parent Worldcom organizations. Chris was also VP of Sales for the UUNET operating company in Canada.
In 2000, Chris was appointed as the COO for Versatel Internet Group NV where he spearheaded a merger consolidating six separate operating companies into one and helped transform the business from a free ISP to a subscription ISP model in Germany and Holland.
Chris graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in Telecommunications. He resides in the Washington DC area.
