General
This website has taken many precautions to protect your information. Considering the importance of the information regarding our users, we have employed industry standards such as secure socket layers (SSL), firewalls, secure access computer facilities, and limited access servers to protect all of your personally identifiable information.
Data Encryption
When you submit sensitive information via the website, that information
is protected. When our forms ask users to enter sensitive information
(such as social security number), that information is encrypted. We encrypt
and transmit any information between us and credit reporting agencies
by using the industry standard, 128-bit SSL connections. While on a secure page, such as
our order form, the lock icon on the bottom of Web browsers such as Netscape
Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer becomes locked, as opposed to
un-locked, or open, when you are just surfing.
Offline Measures
While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also protect user-information offline. All of our users information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. Only employees who require access to stored information to perform a specific duty (for example, a billing clerk, customer service representative, or database administrator) are granted access to personally identifiable information. Furthermore, all employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices. Every quarter, as well as any time new policies are added, our employees are notified and/or reminded about the importance we place on privacy, and what they can do to ensure your information is protected. Finally, the servers that we store personally identifiable information on are kept in a secure environment.
Password Regulations
Assigning a user name and password provides control of your personally identifiable information and your personal digital profile. You should not disclose your password to anyone else. Any disclosure of your password or loss of control of your password may result in some third party access to your personal and credit information. Consequently, if you become aware of losing control of your password, you should immediately change your password.
Audits
We have trusted third parties that conduct various levels of audit and security checks on our entire system and website, both online and offline.
